Give your figure blades disciplined, competition-safe care at Salty Gold Supply Co. inside the Utah Olympic Oval (5662 S Cougar Ln, Kearns / Salt Lake City, UT—15 minutes from downtown SLC, Murray, and Cottonwood Heights). We are the only skate shop in Salt Lake City—and in the world—that uses Olympic Champion Speed Skating technology to deburr figure skate blades.

Instead of soft gummy stones or rubber hones that round over delicate hollow edges, every figure blade sharpened on our laser-aligned Sparx PS300 Pro is digitally level-checked and hand-finished flush along the vertical side wall using our proprietary MIC-6 Cast Aluminum Monocrystalline Diamond Pro Burr Plates—delivering whisper-quiet glide, centered spins, crisp three-turns, and secure jump landings.

4-Point Figure Blade Protection Protocol ($17 Walk-In)

• 1. Calibrated Drag-Pick & Cross-Cut Toe-Pick Stop Clearance: Exact stop-collar calibration before the first pass protects bottom drag picks (critical for Lutz, Flip, and Toe Loop takeoffs and scratch spins) and tail tips from ever touching the ring.
• 2. Compound Spin-Rocker (“Sweet Spot”) Preservation: Controlled, even pass pressure preserves the front 7 ft / 8 ft spin rocker curve on Jackson Ultima (Aspire XP, Legacy, Supreme, Matrix), John Wilson (Coronation Ace, Gold Seal, Pattern 99), and MK (Professional, Phantom, Galaxy) blades.
• 3. Digital Edge-Level Verification: Inside and outside edges are checked post-grind so three-turns, brackets, rockers, counters, and twizzles track cleanly on both feet.
• 4. World-Exclusive Olympic MIC-6 Diamond Hand Deburr: Dead-flat vertical side-wall diamond honing removes 100% of microscopic wire burrs without beveling tapered, parabolic, or standard stainless figure steel.
